A “Chero” is a Cheam Charger Hero, a person who goes beyond the ordinary to become extradinary with their love of the Chargers.

6 Minute Shooting
Present record holders of the 6 minute shooting drill with 53 are Stu, Joel and Chris on 9/9/2015.
Colin Baker
Colin, nick named the “The Toaster” because he kept on popping up, was a great member of the Chargers team, giving much and asking for little. Sadly Colin passed away in 2014 after many years with Cheam Chargers and will always be remembered fondly. Colin’s memorial bench is situated in Carshalton Park, ask Joe for details. Colin was also honoured with legend status for 10 years distingished service.
Les Dyson
The first in a long line of great coaches for the Chargers, Les was the first man to try and tame the “Uncoachables”! Les has also been honoured with 5 years distingished service.
Loz and Isa
Our wonderful scorers, Isa and Lauren.
Joe Clare
Joe is the oil that keeps the whole Charger machine going, treasurer, statistician, trophy engraver and tournaments organiser. Joe has also been honoured with 5 years distingished service.
Piet Johnson
The leader of the pack, the Charger who charges the most, our “Alpha” male, keeps the team motivated and on track. In his spare time he organises the games, refs and scoring and does a good job. Also he likes Teamer. Piet has unique privilege of being the only player still playing with 20 years distingished service.
Danny King
Danny has also been honoured with 5 years distingished service.
Si Foden
Simon is a member of the 10 year legends club.
